Life moves pretty fast...

Life and work move fast and the changes never end. I’ve been working as contract Designer for the last year at SAP Concur, and prior to that, I was at Microsoft for three years.

The marketing organization I’ve been working in for the last year at SAP Concur has been going through their own reorg, and is often the case, they’ve decided to consolidate a few things and move our workload to an internal group.

As this door closes, other doors open with opportunities to grow and thrive. If your marketing group needs some professional design assistance, I’ll be available beginning October 1, 2019. Please reach out and let’s connect on ways to move your brand forward going into 2020!

How it Happens

January, 2015, has come and is almost gone and so much has already happened in this short time. Minutes turn to hours, hours to days and before you know it, another month will have flown by.

What are your plans this year? Did you make a few New Years resolutions? Are they still intact? It's good to have goals and to watch some of those goals come to fruition. Many things will happen, and we set off to make them happen, but most times, they happen in ways that we couldn't have predicted. Life is that way, and it would be rather boring if it was so predictable.

As I was thinking about this last year and what I wanted to change or improve, I thought about the people—friends, family, co-workers—everyone who may be part of that change or affected by it. So it's no wonder that in order to get from A to B, the path may be as straight as Lombard Street.

I hope for you this year that you may do that thing you've always wanted to do, start that thing you've always wanted to start or be that person you've always wanted to be. How you get there and the experiences you have will be the best part of the journey.

Family Time

Like most people, you're busy and have a laundry list of things to do each day including some actual laundry. Time spent with your family can take a back seat to all the other fire-drills that life provides. There are so many options competing for your time including all the activities that school (band, sports, etc.), work and other extra-curricular events supply.

As a photographer, I get a tiny peek into the lives of the people I photograph. The families we photograph are unique and diverse and one common thread that is often said after each session is, in effect, "thanks for getting our family together". I'm happy to be the source for some family time and love to see how everyone gets into it once the shooting begins. Think of it as a time to spend together and connect and not something to check off your list. It's also a small investment where you get to take away lasting memories.

Whether you book with us or not, enjoy some family time in your own unique way — whether it's a vacation, sports, building something or whatever you like to do together — now is the time to do it.
